Let Lose Your Emotions

Work pressure, family troubles, financial problems, problems in love life etc can bog down a person. When these issues in life start taking a toll, man tends to buckle under pressure. It is very important to rise above these issues and have a clear mind to handle them.

With so many thoughts running in the head, it helps if you let your emotions loose. Do not always keep a lid on your emotions. Let go of the pent-up feelings. Here is one way you can do so.

Following is a scene from John Hamburg's movie, 'I Love You, Man' which shows one of the best ways to let go of the heaviness in your heart and feel better.

I do it numerous time myself and really feels light afterwards. Just make sure that you do not make your neighbors call in the police with all your shouting ;-)

Stress Management

Stress refers to the consequence of the failure of an organism – human or animal – to respond adequately to mental, emotional or physical demands, whether actual or imagined. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stress_(biology))

Stress prevents your from performing at your optimum levels. It is psychological condition because of which a personal is unable to focus and perform efficiently. The only way out of this is by removing this stress out of your system. Obviously easier said than done!
I am going to talk about some of the methods that I have personally found very useful.

1. Be with your loved one.
Spend some time with your partner and do not talk about the topics which bring more stress. This is one of the relatively easier way as there are a number of other pleasant topics that you can discuss with your loved ones. Once your mind is at peace again, you can go about finishing your work.

2. Bathroom Singing
Funny as it might sound,it has been scientifically proved that bathroom singing reduces stress. Most of you wont believe this, but I strongly recommend you to try it out yourself and let me know the results. :-)

3. Do whatever your love to do
You might have a hobby that you love doing, something that makes you forget the rest of the world when you are involved in it. Be it gardening, photography, reading novels, watching movies etc. Do what you love to do when things aren't going your way. And when you return to your work, you will have a fresher and more optimistic outlook!

4. Revisit your childhood.
Childhood is the best part of any man's life. Go revisit your childhood. If you have a trunk full of your childhood toys, open it and remember your days. If there is a place where you loved to go as a child, go visit it today (perhaps your old house where you spent your early days, or a park where you used to play as a kid). Believe me, it gives you serenity that is beyond description.

5. Pamper yourself
Indulge in luxuries. Go to a spa or for shopping, or to your favorite restaurant. Often, its these materialistic things that make us happy. Pamper yourself and feel happy.

6. Be with kids (Warning: Not for child haters)
Seeing small little babies makes you feel relaxed. They have the ability to soothe and calm tempers. A child's smile is one of the most addictive things in the world. If this doesn't release your stress, nothing will.

Try them out. You will find them very effective. Going back to work in a happy and positive frame of mind makes you think better and formulate solutions that you could never have done with a stressful mind.
Have a stress free day!
